MSA who are the manufacturers of Gallet fire helmets have a very talented artist Paul Holland on their staff.   Former art teacher Paul has accepted commisions from several UK Fire & Rescue Services to custom paint Gallet helmets using scenes from the respective areas of the services. The helmets are then sold at auction raising money for charity. Because they are unique, a one off, they are known to achieve very high sums of money .

Two Fire Services involved so far are Greater Manchester and Merseyside.
