Welcome to the website of the BLACK ISLE SINGERS. We are a friendly choir based in the Highlands of Scotland, on the Black Isle just north of Inverness. We meet weekly at Fortrose Academy.
Our musical director and conductor is Anne McIntyre, a talented and energetic musician with a huge amount of experience in both teaching and performing. As well as directing our rehearsals, she often plays the piano for us. The music we sing is interesting and varied, ranging from popular to classical, light hearted to more serious - we'll try anything!
We'll be keeping this website up to date with news of Black Isle Singers' performances, and also important news and updates for Choir Members. (See NEWS FOR MEMBERS).
