Now is the time to feed the wildlife around the village. The group carries out winter bird feeding programmes in Pastoral, Arable, Woodland, Garden and Public Parks habitats from now through the winter. The group also supplies free feed to garden feeding residents who are enrolled on the scheme. The feed is designed to attract as many species as possible whilst being appropriate to our locality. If you would like to get free bird feed then please get in touch using the feedback section of this site. All we ask is that you feed responsibly, try to avoid leaving feed for vermin and keep a record of the birds that visit you during the winter. The group will be holding a "Birdfeeding and Identification Basics" course in January and February. Please let us know if you would like to be involved.
