Following the government announcement last night it has been decided that the opening of the green on Sat 4 Apr 20 will now not go ahead.  The club and facilities will remain locked at this time  and the green will be unavailable for practise. All games and competitions are also cancelled for the 2020 season.  We are hoping to run some club competitions later on in the year if we are allowed to. Hope to see you then,  keep safe and look after yourselves.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

Following on from the latest Scottish Government advice the Board Bowls Scotland has taken the decision to cancel all Bowls Scortland events for the 2020 season.  For further information you can visit ther Bowls Scortland website.

As a result of the above we are taking the following measures:

It is proposed to open the green as planned on Sat 4 Apr 2020.  All are invited but it if fully understood that you may not wish to attend.  It will not be a grand affair.  This will be subject to review.

The Hat Night on Mon 6 Apr 2020 and further nights is cancelled until further notice.

The Club Lotto will be suspended with immediate effect, no further payments will be taken.  Those members who are in credit will have their monies held over until the Lotto resumes.

The club will be open on a daily basis from 9am to 8pm from Mon 6 Apr 20.  This will allow members the chance to get some fresh air and practise. We would ask you observe the government advice on personal measures and keeping a safe distance from other members.  It would be apprerciated if you would clean all equipment used for you practice.  The bar will remain closed throughout.

The firendly matches against West End and the Police federation have been cancelled.

Perthshire Bowling Association have not yet published what they intend to do over their leagues and competitions.  We are assuming they will cancel everything along the lines of Bowls Scotland.  We will update this when known.

If you have any queries please do not hesititate to contact the Secretary.

We wish you all good health, keep strong and look after yourselves.
