On a matchday, you'll be expected to work with your coaches and your captain to allow the referee to manage the game without being subjected to abuse. With the game losing thousands of referees from the game every year, it's hugely important, because without the referees, the game isn't the same. If the league you play in adopts the Respect programme, you will be asked to read, agree to, and sign, a Code of Conduct at your club. This will be your 'promise' to abide by a set of rules governing your behaviour as a player. Working together with your coach, your captain, and each referee that takes charge of your games during the season, you can play a major role in improving the game for everyone, through Respect. CAUTIONS - FINES 21 July 2008 Cautions – Yellow card offencesPlayers cautioned in matches cause additional work for the club secretary and treasurer.Despite the continuous attempts of the committee last season numerous players have still not paid outstanding fines. This is an unacceptable situation, as the club has had to make payment to avoid further fines being imposed. There are many members of the club who pay up promptly and it is unfair that others fail to do so.For the 2008/9 season the following policy will be adopted:-Players are not permitted to appeal against any caution (yellow card) and will be fined a minimum of £8 for each offence.In addition a series of cautions will have the affect of triggering an additional fine (accumulated offences charge, which usually kicks in after 5 cautions, but is at the discretion of the West Riding County F.A.)Any player cautioned in a fixture will be required to pay a minimum fine of £8 to the club within 7 days of the offence, or will be precluded from selectionExampleA player cautioned on a Saturday must pay their fine no later than the following Saturday. Training will start on Sunday the 3rd August 10:30am at Micclefield Park along with the Rawdon team. It will also be on a Thursday evening - times to be confirmed. The fee to sign on this year will be £15 - also you must be up to date from last season. Freindlies and fixtures will be coming soon! GUESS WHO THIS IS?????
