Mr Pengelly's Imaginary Degree

One of the few hits turned up by a Google search of Mr Pengelly's name in April 2009 was the website of a French animal welfare group, SAG Coalition.

Tucked away amongst his claims to have cured cancer in animals and waffle about living in France between March 1988 and September 1989 - a period he actually spent living with his wife and child  at Lye, near Stourbridge - is yet another lie...

"I graduated from Birmingham University."

I contacted the Alumni Department at Birmingham University, and guess what - they had no record of his graduation.
