Residential House Manager's Flats.

So you think being the all caring self appointed managing agents that Firstport is, are trying to save residents money by changing to non residential house managers? How vey kind of them?

Documents obtained by About Peverel suggest otherwise?

In a confidential memo sent a few years back by a very senior manager the following notes were made:

House Manager flat sales: 6 sold against a full year target of 31

Progress to drive more sales include:

Dedicated surveyor resource to identify and ballot developments.

Financial boundaries for offers to House Managers and contingency fund contributions (a bribe) agreed with Janet Entwistle (former CEO Firstport)

27 "Hot Prospects" identified where House Managers are keen to change to visiting and letters sent to all.

6 ballots results awaiting

Continuing a "More targeted approach"

Due to an "administrative error" House Managers, Area and Regional Managers neglected to mention the commissions they were being offered by Firstport ranging up to several thousand pounds. They also neglected to mention that Forstport held a lease on the House Manager's flat which could not be sold unless residents agreed to dispense with a residential House Manager.

Recently senior Firstport management stepped up the pressure on Area and Regional managers by telling them not enough sales had been achieved more must be done to achieve sales targets and that comissions were to be increased.                            Currently, Firstport have to reduce their bank overdraft by £1,000,000 every 6 months.  They need those sales.
