"Nasty and Vindictive" is the description of About Peverel given to Peverel/Firstport staff by senior management.
Of course anyone is entitled to their opinion!
We would point out, that it was not About Peverel who charged up to 40 % insurance commissions, nor was it us who price fixed the elderly and the vulnerable.
Nor for that matter was it About Peverel who hounded Eric Mathews a 94 year old war hero.
It was not About Peverel that persued a claim for service charges in the full knowledge that they could not have had a management contract, as the supposed freeholder, was not infact the freeholder.
It was not About Peverel that attempted to hide this information from a court.
It is not About Peverel that had to set aside £9m to resolve "Historic issues"
It is not About Peverel that has been forced to repay millions in overcharges.
Have we mentioned certain names on this site? Of course we have!
It should be noted that this only occurs if they are senior enough, they have lied or committed fraud, and if information of corrupt activities comes from several independent souces.
Whilst we are aware that Peverel/Firstport are working hard to close down this site, we would suggest to the suddenly silent Chris Owens et all, that even were they to succeed, as has happened previously a new site would spring up in it's place.
If Peverel/Firstport are really keen to close this site down, there is a way, that would have the full support of all at About Peverel.
Stop cheating residents and just do the job you are supposed to be doing!
Take away the need for About Peverel and there will be no About Peverel.
It really is that simple.
PS, Despite being thought of as "Nasty and Vindictive" About Peverel would like to wish Bethan Wilson well in her new career with Newsquest.
She rightly earned a very good reputation and was highly thought of by all those that came into contact with her.
Whilst she will be missed, we are pleased she has found a position with a company untainted by scandal. Perhaps she might like to publish a few articles about Peverel/Firstport in her local newspapers? (No harm in asking, Bethan!)
