OFT Consultation
The OFT are carrying out a consultation into the way leasehold operates in the UK.
Already those representing freeholders and managing agents have put submissions into the OFT as to how they seek to protect leaseholders and as to how they have very high standards and voluntary codes they must abide by.
Clearly they have vested interests in maintaining the status quo, or at least in keeping any changes to te minimum.
We all have a duty as leaseholders to spend a little time by contacting the OFT and raising our concerns.
