amuletThis three dimensional piece is an illustration of the triangular amulet found on clothing, animal harness and pictures throughout Northen Europe and down into Turkey. At present this piece is on tour with an art project for Highland schools | Scars upon my HeartBased on the poem by Vera Brittain for her brother who was killed in Italy in World War I. Shows her broken heart, the battle field and cemetery. Part of a series on women poets of the war. I had several successful solo exhibitions of these in 2008 or 2009.
