The school vision is to inspire orphaned and vulnerable children with hope for a better future, and to assist the communities where children live to improve.
SCHOOL MISSION
The school mission is to provide free education that satisfies the social, moral, intellectual, cultural and physical needs of orphaned and vulnerable children, and establish free services that champion community wellbeing such adult education and many others.
SCHOOL OBJECTIVES
To build and develop children’s intellectual standards
To promote co-curricular activities for talent, passion and skill development.
To enhance strategies for proper school sanitation, nutrition and health
To ensure all orphaned and vulnerable children are sponsored
To engage children in activities that champion health and sanitation
To organize activities that support partnership building with NGOs, Clubs, institutions and associations that are interested in community transformation
To establish activities that promote school income and stimulate community development
According the UN campaigns for the rights of children on the globe, children have maximum rights to experience the fulfillment of their rights in the aspects of social, moral, cultural, intellectual and physical transformation
Thanks to a number of cases of vulnerability in Uganda, many NGOs and individuals have risen up to team up for the rights of children and the communities where their live.

What is Alinda Rays Of Hope School?
It is a not or profit private school , formerly known as Alinda Junior Academy, founded for the purpose of championing the rights of children in HIV/AIDS and poverty afflicted areas of Kalungi Parish.
School Projects
- Animal and Crop Farming ( ACF)- We rear and grow crops to maximize the availability of food and raise school incomes.
- Child Skill Development (CSD)- We train children in a variety of co-curricular activities such as Art & Crafts, Games & Sports, Personal Hygiene& Sanitation and Gardening
Community Outreach Aid (COA)- We occasioanally organize a Walk-Of-Hope to the most at risk households mainly child-headed, widow-headed and elder-headed families. We provide possible requirements and counseling to HI/AIDS infected and pregnant mothers.- Child Evangelism (CE)- We engage children in bible study moments. They are guided through reading and memorizing short bible verses thus training them how to become GOD fearing leaders.
- Environmental Health & Nutrition - We undergo a season of championing environmental conservation and proper feeding campaigns by planting trees in the community and distributing fruit seedlings to other schools that partner with us
School Catchment Area
The school operates to serve the areas of Kiaable, Kalungi, Toreero and Lugalama Villages located in Kalungi Parish, Kyalulangira Sucounty, Kooki County of Rakai District in the south of Uganda
School promotors
The school make contacts with NGOs , communities and individuals at both domestic and global settings. These work to champion the entire program through the providing assistance of various forms.
