This regiment disbanded around 1806 and he joined the 12th Lancers. Whilst he was there, he married an Irish woman (Mary Kearney), then after having several children in Ireland they ended up living in Essex (West Hythe and Folkestone). Please help me! No Places of birth for either John or Catherine but believe John's father was Roderick McDonald. These dates may be off. They had a daughter Sarah-c. in Scotland abt. 1844. There were more children, but I do not have any info on them at this time. Thanks slopitchcrazy They came to Canada sometime between 1844-1847. Posted by slopitchcrazy on 01 June 2010 | ||
