A long search for something that is difficult to find, or an attempt to achieve something difficult. 

2012 - a year of uncertainty:
The end of a rotational cycle of the earth.  A cycle that started 26,800 years ago and ends on 21st December 2012.

This website attempts to look at the facts and theories and let you, the viewer, form your own conclusion.

 

If you search the Internet for what is said about the year 2012 in relation to our planet earth you are likely to feel uncomfortable on what is forecast.

Those involved with this website have an open mind.   We intend to look for signs and occurrences that may, or may not give an indication, or perhaps some clues, on the validity of what has been forecast by many unrelated sources.

Global Warming or Global Warning?
Changes in the weather pattern all over the world, with floods, typhoons and tornados have been put down to climate change.   Volcanic eruptions and their ash clouds have been dismissed on the basis that they have happened in the past. But is there more to all this than meets the eye?

Our position in the universe?
Everyone knows that our tides are influenced by the moon.  Therefore, it is reasonable to assume that other planets, and the sun - or their position in the heavens in relation to planet earth, can influence what is happening in our world as far as climatic conditions are concerned. 

Earth Cycle
Facts have been presented stating that the earth travels in a cycle that spans 26,800 years     Obviously  no one knows what happened all that time ago - and no one knows what is going to happen when the cycle ends on 21st December 2012.   It must be said that another date has been mentioned, and that is: 12th December, 2012 - or expressed another way: 12-12-12.  The significance of this date will be discussed on another page at a later date.

Our Quest
We aim to look for indications or warnings on what MAY happen.   We feel that the happenings here on earth are being taken too lightly.   Or are they?    Perhaps those with more knowledge than ourselves are afraid that the facts that they are aware of may cause panic and a collapse of the world's economy and financial system?

Some of our pages will explore various theories and other pages will look at what seems to be the increasing frequency of earthquakes.

In the end, you, the reader, must consider what is written and decide for yourself.   As for us, we will take care to clarify on what are facts and what are theories.   We just think it is essential to have a website such as this where information can be collated and evaluated in layman's language.
