Dartmoor Prison
This was a highly poinient event held at Dartmoor Prison to remember the American Prisoners of the War of 1812 who died while imprisoned at Dartmoor.
A contingient of the Daughters of the War of 1812 travelled from the USA to unveil the new memorial they had commisioned.
Joined by the 32nd Foot we were able to honour the memories of the men who did not return to American following the peace.
