On Tuesday 1st November the Leaders and Explorer Scouts have organised a Firework Evening at Mugdock Country Park at from 7pm – 8.30pm. Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and Explorers should make their own transport arrangements to and from Mugdock Country Park. We will be meeting at the Clobberfield Car Park in Milngavie, just before Clobberfield Industrial Estate.

Parents and family are welcome to stay for the evening; the format of the evening will be a short walk along the path until we reach a suitable clearance, then the fireworks followed by Hot Dogs and Juice at the Car Park.

Please bring along suitable warm and waterproof clothing and a torch.

The cost of the evening will be £5 payable on the evening for beavers, cubs, scouts and explorers (No additional charge for parents/family)

To enable me to cater for everyone I would be obliged if you could email me to confirm you are attending and the numbers in your party by Sunday 30th October 2011.

Thank you to all who turned up to assist "The Friends Of The River Kelvin" cleaning up in the Botanical Gardens. We collected enough rubbish to fill at least 10 black bags including many broken bottles, a wing mirror, a car numberplate, bits of bikes and a dangerous looking knife. http://www.fork.org.uk/about/about-fork/
