Keep up the good Peter Sellars impersenations : ) Kenny & Team Posted by Kenny on 26 September 2011 Website Terrific! As a former member of 23 PFA in the Sixties I can vouch for the accuracy and clarity of many of the pictures. Not a lot had changed by then, 1958 Pattern webbing equipt and a Browning 9mm Hi-Power pistol CWW boots etc but it's all still very evocative of happy days. Keep up the good work!! Jim Craig Posted by Jim Craig on 08 July 2011 Hi Jim, Many thanks for your kind comments mate, passed it on to the lads and they are chuffed to bits to get your input. Come and see us sometime at an event if you can, Kenny Posted by on 07 August 2011 Website Can't believe I've just found this site. Truly a magnificent tribute site to the WW11 para-medics and obviously a lot of fun for the present day team. I served with the unit in the sixties and greatly appreciate the efforts you have gone to in obtaining the accuracy of your unifors and equipment. Not a lot had changed by the time I got there, we had 1944 and 1958 pattern webbing and a Browning 9mm Hi-Power Pistol but even the old 'Training Pamphlet No.3 ' was stll in use with a impressive collection of amendments! Keep up the good work! Jim Craig Posted by Jim Craig on 07 July 2011 |
