Welcome to 1530A.D. Golf Society

A golf society that values and follows the rules and protocols of the game as defined by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews. Society matches are based on Stableford Competition, so if you are starting out you have as much chance to win as our more able players. We have great competition throughout the year, but never lose sight of friendship and fun.

Our society began in 1999 when the founder members took a golfing weekend in La Touquet, France. They had such a good time that they agreed the cameraderie had to be repeated and the society was born. Fifteen years later we have 30 regular members. The year culminates with our two day, overnight, event in early October at a prestige hotel & golf venue where we play our final Stableford competition and crown our Champion for the year.
